RC (Vi); mutilated. Addressed by TJ to Harrison as Speaker. Endorsed: “Governors Letter. May 30. 178[0.] Inclosing Govr. Nash & Rutledge’s respecting Surrender of Charles town. Referred to Committee of whole on the State of the Commonwealth.” Enclosures: Abner Nash to TJ, 25 May 1780, q.v., and John Rutledge to Nash, 16 May, enclosed in Nash’s letter.
