Tobias Lear to Henry Knox

United States [Philadelphia] Novr 24th [1]792

By the President’s command T. Lear has the honor to return to the Secretary of War the letter to Govrnor Lee—to Thomas Wilson Esq. & others1—and the Copy of a letter to Genl Wayne,2 which have been submitted to the President & to inform the Secretary that their contents meet the ideas of the President.
