From Tobias Lear

[Philadelphia] March 27, 1791. “About two hours ago I had the honor to receive your letter of yesterday, which the door keeper of your Office says he forgot to deliver sooner. This will account for your not receiving the commission for General Hand yesterday forenoon as you requested. I have now the honor to enclose it.…”
