14 January 1811. Transmits a report from the surveyor of the public buildings “relative to the progress and present State of them.”

Enclosure (9 pp.) is Latrobe’s “Report on the public buildings,” dated 28 Dec. 1810 (printed in Van Horne, Papers of Latrobe description begins John C. Van Horne and Lee W.
