31 December 1811, Department of War. Lists proposed promotions in the U.S. Army for JM’s approval.1

Proceedings description begins Journal of the Executive Proceedings of the Senate of the United States of America (3 vols.; Washington, 1828). description ends , 2:198–201).

1. Eustis first listed promotions in the peace establishment, specifically the Regiment of Artillerists and the First and Second Infantry Regiments. His list for the additional military force included promotions in the Light Artillery Regiment, the Regiment of Light Dragoons, the Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Infantry Regiments, and the Regiment of Riflemen.
