Wrote to TJ on 13 Feb.; received TJ’s of 14th with enclosed letter for Jay too late for the packet, which sailed “yesterday very early in the morning at least three hours before the Letters were delivered out of the Post Office.” Will forward them by the next. Wishes TJ a good journey and “a safe return in a good health.”
