Elizabeth Town April 16. 1799.

Sir.

In pursuance of your favor of the 13th. instant, I send you herewith, a list of the Officers assigned to the different subdistricts, shewing the name of the principal officer of each district and the particular sub-districts to which he is assigned

A note by H on the cover of the letter from Ogden reads: “Copy to be made f⟨or⟩ the Secy of War Filed among papers respecting Districts.” In the left margin of the first page of the letter from Ogden, there is an "X" in an unknown hand beside the line in the first paragraph with the words "window shutters" underlined.
