New Windsor [New York] February 27, 1781. Congratulates Greene on Brigadier General Daniel Morgan’s victory. Reaffirms confidence in Greene’s abilities. States that Pennsylvania line has been ordered South. Describes Virginia expedition. Reports supposed victory of Comte d’Estaing.
