Philadelphia, June 24, 1794. “The amount of the last draft for the contingent expences of the Office of the Department of State, being nearly expended, I must beg the favor of you to cause a warrant to issue on the Treasurer payable to George Taylor Junr.1 for One thousand Dollars, to be applied to similar purposes.”
