From James Madison to Albert Gallatin, 14 March 1807

Department of State, March 14. 1807.

Sir.

I have the honor to inform you that the money transferred to this place by the late Agent of the United States at London, on account of those interrested in the claim of Jere: Condy & Co. will be paid to the Treasurer of the United States, agreeably to the arrangement proposed in your letter of the 12th. inst. I am &c.
