[Philadelphia] December 16, 1790. “I have the honor, by the Presidents command, to inform you that he has no objection to gratifying the wish of the Collector of Boston, communicated to him this day,1 to spend a part of the time of the session of Congress at the Seat of Government, provided that an absence from his Office may not be injurious to the Public.…”
