Head Quarters Ramapaugh 29th June 1780

Dear Sir

I have agreeable to your Excellency’s request sent Colo. Johnson with five Officers from the line to take charge of and forward the Levies to the army—I make no doubt but they will meet with all possible assistance from Your Excellency and the Council in procuring such equipments as are necessary for the men previous to their marching—I am with the greatest respect and Regard Your Excellency’s Most Obet Servant
