Andrew G. Fraunces, a clerk in the Treasury Department, was a son of GW’s steward Samuel Fraunces (see Andrew G. Fraunces to GW, 7 Mar. 1792).
1. The enclosure, which has not been found, may have been an invitation to the impending meeting of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, which convened on 27 Dec. 1791 (see GW to the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, 3 Jan. 1792).
