To the New York Convention

Morristown, 20 March 1777. “I am this day favoured with your letter of 16th inst. enclosing the examination of sundry persons lately in New-York, for which I am much obliged to you; as every intelligence of this kind, serves to cast light upon the true situation of affairs.”

The LS was badly burned in the fire that destroyed the New York State Library in Albany in 1911.
