1. John Keaton (born c.1742), who had come into the regiment only recently after having enlisted in Caroline County, was for a while in William Peachey’s company of artificers working on the fort at Winchester. When discharged on this day, he had an injured left arm and was in George Mercer’s company of the Virginia Regiment.
