21. Dined at the Club at Mrs. Campbells at 8 Oclock & went to Bed directly after.

GW today received £60 15s. 6d. from the treasurer of the colony in payment for his burgess’s wages and traveling expenses since 30 April 1769 (ledger a description begins Manuscript Ledger Book 1, 1750-72, in George Washington Papers, Library of Congress. description ends , 191, 303).
