mr. goldsbury: probably one of the brothers of John Barclay’s wife, Rachel Goldsborough Barclay. Her three brothers were Nicholas, Thomas, and Foster Goldsborough (hanson description begins George A. John Lewis (1747–1825), only son of Fielding Lewis by his first wife, Catherine Washington Lewis, lived in Fredericksburg until 1811, when he removed to Kentucky.
