I have recd. the copy of the proceedings of the Convention at Charlottesville forwarded by Mr. Trist. I observe that a copy of the Memorial is to be laid before the Assembly with the proceedings. If it was printed as finally agreed to, I would thank you for a copy having none such myself. If there be no such printed copy, the Assembly will perhaps be satisfied with the opportunity of making out the result from the materials before them.
I have recd. also your letter on the subject of the place vacated by Mr. Trist; and shall duly <. . .> t<o> the other Visitors. <Friendly> respects.
