I have received your letter of the 18h. inst. & have not been able to furnish the evidence you wish relative to the Soldiers Snow & Leavenworth. If it can be ascertained to what Companies they were attached when they died the necessary facts in relation to pay & Land may be furnished from the muster & pay rolls in the Pay office. I have the honour to be Yrs. Etc.
