Department of State June 26th: 1806.


I request you to be pleased to cause the sum of eight thousand Six hundred dollars, from the appropriations for Barbary Intercourse to be placed at the Branch Bank at Norfolk to the credit of George Davis Esqr. Consul for Tripoli, who is to be charged with the same on the books of the Treasury. I am &c.
