Department of State May 20th. 1806.


I have the honor to request that you will be pleased to give your warrant, on the appropriations for the Contingent expenses of the Territory of Michigan, for three hundred & Sixty- five dollars, in favor of Peter Gansevoort Jnr. Esqr. (and direct the same to be transmitted to him at Albany N. Y.) in whose favor the enclosed bill was drawn on me by William Hull Esqr: Governor of said Territory of Michigan, who is to be charged with & held accountable for the same. I am &c.
