The enclosure (3 pp.) lists 46 appointments to the infantry, corps of sea fencibles, light artillery, peace establishment, and engineers. JM submitted the list to the Senate on 29 July (DNA: RG 46, Executive Proceedings, Nominations, 13B-A1; printed in Senate Exec.
