§ Presidential Proclamation

8 March 1810, Washington. On 5 Mar. the president, with the advice and consent of the Senate, ratified and confirmed the treaty concluded at Vincennes on 9 Dec. 1809 between the U.S. and the Kickapoo Indians. Requires all officeholders and citizens “faithfully to observe and fulfil” the treaty.
