§ From Joseph Rademaker. 5 November 1805, Philadelphia. “The 2d. Instant I had the honor to receive your Letter dated 27th. ultimo [not found] with an enclosed Package addressed to the Chevr. Freire. I have transmited the said Package by this day’s mail to London to the care of the Portuguese Minister there, requesting him to remit it to the Chevr. Freire.”1
