§ From Louis-Marie Turreau

7 June 1805, Washington. No. 7. Encloses the commission of the French under-commissary of commercial relations for the ports located on the Potomac River, which he has just delivered to M. Lequesne. Asks JM to present it to the president in order to obtain Lequesne’s exequatur in the usual form.

Tr of enclosure (1 p.; in French; with Wagner’s interlinear clarification: “Commissaire dans les ports situès sur la Riviere du”). The enclosure was the 15 Prairial an XIII (4 June 1805) commission of Alexis Joseph Lequesne.
