7 June 1805, Washington. No. 7. Encloses the commission of the French under-commissary of commercial relations for the ports located on the Potomac River, which he has just delivered to M. Lequesne. Asks JM to present it to the president in order to obtain Lequesne’s exequatur in the usual form.

The enclosure was the 15 Prairial an XIII (4 June 1805) commission of Alexis Joseph Lequesne.
