16 March 1803. Lists eighteen owners with the amount paid by each to breed their mares to Childers,1 for a total of £33 12s.

1. JM apparently had agreed to buy William Thornton’s stud Childers but instead traded two other horses for him (JM to Thornton, 19 Aug. 1803 [DLC: Thornton Papers]).
