I notist in our Paper your Requst for Propositr for Painting & Glayzing of the univesity and being of that Profesion I would wish to know if you Have all Reddy Contracted for that Part of your Buildings if not I would forward on My Refferances—of which I would mention the Presedent & Managers of the Balto Exchange Co and Mr Letrobe A Getleman I Presume well none to you and Many of the Best house’s in the City as I am Painter of the Alcove Building sir if you think My Request worth your notise I Flatter my Self that I Can give you such signets as will Prove satisfatory as for Proposals I have not A opetunity to forward at this time as I have sent to Alexandra for A Book of Prices of 1804 and not Recvd it yet if you sir would wish me or think it Necesarry and Give me infermation I will atend to it Amediately sir I am with Respect
