Th: Jefferson returns his thanks to mr Crookes for the copy he has favored him with of the versification of the speech of Logan, the Mingo chief. acceptable as it is in every form, he thinks mr Crookes has strictly preserved the strong & dignified sentiments of his original. he salutes mr Crookes with respect and consideration.
