United States, 31 Mch. 1792. Transmits by the President’s command letters from James Seagrove so that TJ could “take extracts therefrom for the purpose mentioned this day.” The President wishes to know if the copies sent to him of the letter of George Hammond are intended to be forwarded to Seagrove by the Secretary of War.
