Charlestown, S.C., 17 Mch. 1788. Enclose a bill for 726 livres tournois, drawn by the French consul, Petry, on Petry at Paris, subject to the order of the Agricultural Society; it is intended for purchase of “Olive, and other Fruit trees”; have written Bérard asking him to remit £300 to TJ for the use of John Rutledge, Jr.
