This is to acquaint you that on the 3d. of this month I accepted a Bill of Mr. Barclay’s for 150 £ at 10 day’s sight and on the fifth two other Bills of fifty Pounds each, also at ten day’s sight--to be paid at your House and charged as usual—

I am further to request you Gentlemen to favour me with a Copy of your account of all monies paid by you upon my Draughts since I have been in England, that I may be able to compare it with my own account, and those of others whose Bills I have accepted &c. This is now the more immediately necessary as Mr. Grand of Paris is at a loss about a Bill of 100 £ which he took from Mr. Barclay & both he and Barclay desire, to be informed whether it has been accepted by me and being paid by you—I am
