Responding to Cazenove’s letter of 31 Mar. , is “inclined to take at the price $250. a pipe of the Madeira” and urges that it be forwarded “by a safe mode.” Asks to be informed “whether the wine is fit for immediate use, or can be made so by fining.” RC (owned by Mrs. Mary C.
