Your favr of the 4th inst. has been recd I am too much enfeebled by age to write letters, and am obliged therefore to withdraw from that labor. I return you the letters of mr Adams & mr Gherry which you would doubtless desire to keep, and with every wish for your health & well-being pray you to accept my best respects
